Submersible Flat Cable

  • Over a period of time, there has been a phenomenal change in the irrigation methods adopted by the Indian farmers. The Indian farmers are no longer dependant on rains & bore wells for irrigation of the corps. During the modern age, most of the land irrigation is done by underground water, which is lifted with the help of submerged electric pump / motor. There electric power to this submerged electric pump / motor is provided by 3 Core Flat PVC Insulated & Sheathed Cable.

  • Conductor: SUZLON 3 Core Flat Submersible Cables are made from bright, electrolytic grade copper, fully annealed to provide the required softness & flexibility, duly bunched/twisted together (from copper strands of correct diameter) to provide compact, circular, cohesive and uniform copper conductor, which results in providing a high conductive path for flow at electric current.

  • Insulation: The PVC insulation compound has special properties of higher flexibility, minimum (almost zero) water penetration & better thermal stability to make it suitable for outdoor usage at ambient temperatures more than 40°C during summer seasons. The colour core wires are Red, Yellow & Blue.

  • Sheath (Outer Covering): The PVC core wires are laid adjacent to each other and are than extruded for outer sheathing. The PVC Sheathing compound used, meets the additional properties of greater flexibility, thermal stability abrasion resistance & inhibiting water penetration. These properties enhance the life of cable & provide trouble free performance under rigid conditions. Suzlon Cables are the ultimate choice for the farmers for their irrigation needs.
